Hiya Matt, heya Chris.
I have something to say about your covering the top 5 Distro Post by Steven J. Vaughan-Nichols.
Any metric used to determine distro usage is heavily flawed unless you start like (cr)Apple and introduce UUIDs to map all machines/users.
As this was already covered on TechSNAP I won't go into details why this would be/is a bad idea.
One of many reasons why I'm using GNU/Linux is because I don't want to be tracked (by vendors, companies, ...).
Usage statistics you collect about me are therefore generally misleading.
Same goes for computers I maintain.
I love telling a great meta-story ^^
