This list barely includes anything not already available on Apple. And some of the games are things that have been on iOS for a long time already. If one of the 'best apps' is a year old iOS version of a game, it doesn't bolster the idea that Android has just as many apps, or at least not just as many new and relevant apps.

And nobody denies that Android gets the big apps like Amazon just like iOS. The difference is in the games and creativity apps, those listed here are old news on iOS.

Chrismaster, I dare you to find a Tasker equivalent on IOS, or an AirDroid one.
Or, in the name of games: a decent Rummikub game (rummyfight on android is highly addictive)
Not to mention that the keyboards like swype and swiftkey are also without comparisons on the IOS front.

Hi guys, new poster. Love the show.

Some of my favorite apps, for what it's worth:

- Crackle: handy to watch some movies/tv for free, here there and everywhere.
- Gemini Calendar: I don't really need to see my whole week, and like the way it gives the agenda for each day you click on. Oh, and I always prefer dark skins when I can get them, and Gemini automatically does that.
- Hours Bank: REALLY handy, especially if you work for yourself, or find yourself either taking it TOO easy, or being TOO hard on yourself with work!
-Throttlecopter: Chronically cute and addictive little game.
-VLC Remote: Absolutely awesome - really useful for watching movies, and works with ANY VLC platform, including a Linux distrib.

I also love Dolphin, SkyMap, and Handcent from those already mentioned. I find the Dropbox app a little annoying, I just go through their website on Dolphin instead.
Still hoping one day a Ubuntu distribution will be named "Stylish Skunk"...

Running Xubuntu 11.10 on a Lenovo Thinkpad X121e. I've also got an unrooted HTC Sensation.

Viber

Use Viber for free calls and text messages over WLAN. Viber integrates with your phone's contact list and show other contacts who have Viber installed on their phones. In other words: You don't need to register another username in order to use it, like you have to with Skype.

BatteryFu was a bad Android pic :x
Chris needs to give himself an uppercut for that one. That thing took my Internet connection down when I uninstalled it. Took me ages to figure out how to fix it. Useless app when it was installed.
