I don't know if you can notice in the video but both the escort and cruiser both have a higher than normal bonus to accuracy, crit chance and severity. I saw the escort up to 115% severity with attack pattern alpha.

The cruiser weapons slots are 4/4 and 3 engineer BOFFs. Commander, Lt Comm and Lt. Also when the saucer seperates the battle section loses hull HP but gains speed and turn rate. The saucer has 2 extra phaser arrays.

The escort has 4/3 weapon slots and can run 2 dual cannons and a dual heavy with minimal power loss. In fact it runs weapons power at 125 constantly. The hull is at 30k base and no -bonus to shields. 3 tactical BOFFs comm, Lt comm and Lt. Cloaking if you want it.
