First off, let me just say we have some new feeds you can subscribe to, which can be found on our front page on the lower right in the Feeds section of the sidebar:

Second thing, some changes are coming:

With the return of LAS, it does not really make sense to include the short format shows in the LAS feed, AKA In Depth Look, Big Story, News UPDATE, etc.

So the audio and video versions of those shows will be put in their own feed, and the LAS feed will only contain The Linux Action Show. I think we'll put this in place after the release of the next episode of LAS, so we can announce it there and let people know they need to subscribe to the other feeds if they want those shows via RSS. But it would be a good idea to subscribe now so when we make the switch you don't miss any shows.

Ah, man, does this mean I need to re-organize my iTunes feeds again?

Anyone else use iTunes and figure out a way to deal with dead feeds, but still organize those feeds and keep them available? I already have two CastaBlasta feeds (one Jupiter Broadcasting, one not). Or should I just abandon those old episodes and go with the new?

Ya the old feed is broken, it pointed directly to an old server that is no longer around, and iTunes has not removed it from the store.. Sorry mate!

Oh, I'm not mad at you by any stretch. I guess I'll just have to "archive" the old feed episodes on my content server and do some house cleaning in my iTunes.

Does the "All our audio" iTunes feed include the The Linux Action Show (big show)?

Yes sir! The MP3 version of The Linux Action Show, since iTunes = iPod most the time.

Chris, would it be possible to have a feed of just LAS video? The only way to get it now is to subscribe to it all.

Ya we could do that. It'd be prolly better if it was the h.264 video in the feed. The archive.org generates our ogg theora, and it has been hit and miss... So a feed based off it would be hit and miss..

Is that what you would be looking for?
